4 Natural And Non-Invasive Alternatives To Lip Fillers

Lip fillers have become a popular choice amongst celebrities – such as Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and Charlotte Crosby – and women who want to make their lips feel fuller and plumper. While lip fillers are great for helping to achieve the perfect pout, it does come with its risks, and some people don’t like the idea of needles. However, there are some natural and non-invasive alternatives to lip fillers for those who want to achieve perfect lips without fillers and needles.

Here are four natural and non-invasive alternatives to lip fillers that are easy and simple to implement into your makeup regimen.

1. Lip plumping products

Many beauty brands have caught onto the perfect pout trend and have created lip plumping products so that beauty lovers on a budget can recreate the desired effect. Lip plumping products come in different variations – such as lip gloss or lip balm – and they give you plumper, fuller and softer lips in an instant with just one application.

2. Exfoliating scrub

Exfoliating the skin is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells, increase circulation around your body and achieve smooth and soft skin. But did you know that you can use exfoliating scrub on your lips too? Not only is it a great way to moisturise the lips, but it’s also a great way to get that plumping effect and make your lips look fuller without the need for lip fillers. Celebrities such as a Kourtney Kardashian swear by this beauty technique. Most beauty brands and drugstores sell exfoliating scrubs, but you can create your own at home! Mix natural raw sugar with organic coconut oil and Manuka honey. Then, rub the mixture on your lips in circular motions and wipe off. Then you’re good to go!

3. Peppermint oil

Peppermint has many health benefits, such as soothing the digestive system and providing a calming effect on the body. It’s also good for your lips too. Peppermint oil nourishes the lips and plumps them up. However, don’t use too much otherwise you’ll have to deal with an annoying tingling sensation. To achieve the best results, apply the night before.

4. Matte liquid lipsticks

Matte lip products have become really popular within the beauty industry, thanks to the likes of Kylie Jenner and her collection of matte liquid lipsticks and lip kits. Other brands such as NYX Cosmetics, Barry M and Bourjois have since followed suit. Matte liquid lipsticks make the lips appear bigger than they are, and that’s why they are so popular amongst cosmetic lovers who want to achieve big lips. Also, matte lip products tend to be long-lasting.

To create big lips with matte liquid lipsticks, start off by applying lip liner or lip crayon. Then apply concealer around the lips as this will create the desired effect that you are trying to achieve. Then, apply the matte liquid lipstick and your lips will look amazing in hardly any time at all and without fillers!
